As a lover of believing in hard work and dedication Kishore Thapar passed out in the year 2000 by his successful completion of the diploma course in Hotel Management and Catering Technology from Mumbai.
The realization first dawned on him when he became an award winning student Bacardi bartender India in the year 2000. Starting his career in the year 2000 behind the bars and having worked with some of the most successful star graded properties like The Taj Mahal, J W Marriott, Hyatt Regency and such other today he has educated, inspired and trained over 600 budding bartenders since the year 2002 and continues to create a dynamic work force for the industry..

Instigatedby his passion, commitment and contagious enthusiasm for his craft accelerated .him to become a joint entrepreneur with Vijaypal and the two of them have a unique chemistry and complementary skills which has earned them a great deal of success and client appreciation. With his profound knowledge and experience of nearly a decade Kishore Thapar has made a personal mission along with a clear vision to improve the quality and standards of the service in the bar industry by setting up a professional institution for bartending namely “Cocktails and Dreams, Mumbai.”


Over these years he has been involved and has personally carried out several splendid research and development on various alcoholic / non alcoholic products & bartending thus adding value to the industry.

One of his personal fortes has been that of conducting comprehensive workshops for amateurs, home bartending for corporate and elite clients. Since .2006 he been a resident trainer with Tulleeho.
As a consultant to various up market alcoholic companies his expertise also lies in assisting them along with his well coordinated professional team in brand building and various product promotions.
He has executed many projects all over India right from the initial stage of bar designing and set up, specific conceptual menu planning in such a way that it is profit concentrated along with best quality, sourcing of bar equipment and bar related products, staff recruitment & training for the meticulous functioning and growth of the project. Also his keen .interest lies in providing successful cutting - edge ahead of time bar solutions by practicing and creating best ideas in the industry thus preventing any exposure to losses.
For Diageo- India, Kishore has trained and spoken extensively about various premium alcoholic brands to empower the staff at the duty free shops, with the right knowledge & confidence in the brand which results in elevated profitability through sales. These results driven sessions are carried out at duty free shops all over India regularly by him.

More recently in conjunction with the boom in the airline industry, Kishore has trained the King fisher airline’s crew to successfully become on board bartenders for their unrivaled international flights. Also for Jet airways crew, he has been conducting training in particular: Various brands of Alcohol, Wine Knowledge & the art of on board alcohol selling.
His expertise and in depth knowledge of the industry allows him to carry out various marketing activities for the beverage industry.
Kishore has an understanding that sourcing the best talent is a daunting task for most hotels, night clubs and restaurants in India and abroad and thus he has induced himself full-fledged in recruitment of his students.
